Today's Workshop

Hello all,
First I'd like to say thanks to Matt, Kerri, Allie and Hayley for coming to the character workshop. I'm happy with what we got done. I really enjoyed leading it, I hope it was as helpful for you guys as it was for me.

Secondly I have began editing it and oh my god, I'm still sat at this computer 2 hours after we finished the session. I will burn it to a DVD i think so that we can watch it together, possibly upload it to Youtube as well.

Thirdly I really think it is worth doing again with everyone at some point, even if just for assessment purposes, the ideal would be for Vanessa to come and watch the workshop, but obviously she is busy and we can do it this way.

I will let you know when its edited. Please post me some feedback on the workshop, would be greatly appreciated.

Hello people I wondered if anyone has anything ready, I remember someone asking if we could have the days off we planned last week for this week and one of the tutors saying that we really shouldn't. So are we going to be doing filming in the evening then? Because we need to sort out a place by place basis and who's going first etc. x

Broken foot and ability to walk

Hey guys,

You prob all know I am currently disabled. I don't want this so affect the film. And I do really want to be involved as this is my SDP and I'm pretty much screwed if I don't do it. Hopefully I will be back the week after next so please keep me posted on idea etc and maybe we can think of ideas for me to be in it without looking like a loser with a broken leg. Luckily I dont have a plaster cast anymore just a very sexy boot which can be taken off so maybe my character doesn't walk. I find out this thursday to amount of damage i have done to my foot and if i need an op so hopefully fingers crossed i'll be back in now time. But please still include me and we can use the blog and facebook as a way of communicating ideas from this week.

Hey guys, i was a bit worried about the assessment and where i was going with it as I wanted to do a few things eg. stand up, teaching comedy classes and the film. I realised that my main focus for the SDP project is comedy as that's what I think I can meet the assessment criteria better with to link all the 3 things together. For the SDP, I'd like to host an open mic night and do a final stand up comedy performance. I'd like to be part of the film but to have an acting part in it where I can create a comedy character to help me develop my skills and present this too.
